Shediac Lobster Shop is unapologetically vocal—at industry conferences, as a member of many boards and associations, and in public—that we do not own the ocean and its riches.

We strive to harvest responsibly, working only with like-minded fishers who share our commitment to stewarding the ocean well.

Sustainability

We gladly comply with the stringent Canadian laws guaranteeing a sustainable future for our industry.

We have invested in a live holding facility that mimics the natural environment, keeping lobsters healthy and preventing waste..Our fishers return to the ocean any lobsters that are too young or females full of eggs.

Traceability

We meticulously trace all of our products—from the seafloor to our clients. We know where each of our products was harvested and how it passed through our facilities. We use GS1-128 bar codes to indicate that traceability.

Our clients want safe and sustainable products and we do all we can to guarantee that to them.

Shediac Lobster is HACCP approved, CTPAT, PIP, NSF International Certified Audited

and MSC Certified (MSC-C-55029).
